Great Run Charity Prospectus 2009

Welcome to the 2009 Great Run Charity Programme website.  We've been working hard over recent months incorporating feedback you have given us to present an improved online charity service.

The Great Run Charity Programme has grown significantly over the last few years and is a central component of Great Run, with charity runners raising millions for a wide variety of good causes as well as bringing their own personal stories to our events.  In 2008, over 400 charities registered as Great Run Charity Partners and supported us both at our three most established events; the Bupa Great North, Manchester and South Run, and our developing events in Edinburgh, London, Cardiff and Sheffield and Sunderland.

Television continues to be a strong element of the Great Run formula with Sky Sports now joining the BBC and Five in televising the events which regularly feature emotive charity stories.

Thank you once again for your continued support and we hope the developments to our new on-line charity facility improves our services.
