Great Run Charity Prospectus 2008

The Great Run Charity Programme has grown significantly over the last few years. In 2007 over 250 charities registered as partners of Great Run events across the UK, including the new venues in Cardiff, Sheffield and London.

The 2008 programme is already shaping up to be the biggest yet with the BUPA Great Edinburgh Run, Manchester Run and South Run continuing to grow in size and visibility. This growth consolidates the position of the Great Run as the biggest mass participation running programme in the world.

Television continues to be a strong element of the Great Run formula with both the BBC and Channel 5 televising the events and featuring many charity stories.

As always we are continually looking at new ways to improve the services offered to our charity partners and will continue to improve the Great Run events programme based on the feedback we receive each year.
